Compass Academy professes belief in God the Eternal Father and in his son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. All teaching is to testify of Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. References to many forms of scripture, both past and present, are woven into our methods of learning.
membership and requirements
* We are open for families to join at the start of each semester.
1st semester is September-December
2nd semester is January-April.* Families are asked to have one parent commit to teaching and/or assisting at each gathering.* We ask that a parent of each family be present at all functions.* Each family commits to participating in the service hour.* Families share the duties of set up and clean up at each gathering.

Semester Dues
* $60 per semester (Covers the cost of liability insurance and common goods.)* Once a year donation of $25 per family. This goes to our host location,
Colbern Community of Christ Church.* Parents assist in a one hour class setting each week.* Participate in service (typically indoor and outdoor cleaning) each week for our host location.

Monthly Schedule
Gatherings are the first three Fridays each month
from 10 am - 1 pm.Located at Colbern Community of Christ Church

Lees Summit, MO 64063Includes: Opening exercises, classes by common age ranges, creative play and weekly service.Field trips are the fourth Friday each month.No gatherings on 5th Fridays.Please fill out the registration form if you are interested in joining us. It isn't a guarantee of availability.
We use the arts- such as nature, music, poetry, storytelling and all art forms to inspire learning.
